Honda HR214 Gear Box

I have an old Honda HR214 GXV120 Motor as a second machine to my HRU216. The 214's 2Speed Gear Box is giving problems.

Does anyone have 1) A working replacement s/h gear box for this machine, and/or
2) A Repair Manual for the HR214???

The motor is in very good condition and I would like to keep this going as a back-up machine.

I have repaired 3speed boxes by putting in new clutch gears (not drive gears) supplied from my honda dealer.. not too hard to do if mechanicly minded..unfortunalty not much info on the web about how to do it..Just a matter of pulling the box down (remember where every thing comes from) then find the clutch gears, replace them with new ones, put it back together fill with oil and presto should go for another 2000hrs or so......or you could by a new one from indy or your honda dealer.....hope this helps good luck..

I do have a wreck at work with a 2 speed gearbox. I don't know what the model is though I will check later on. :-)

RE 214 g/box I had 214 many yrs ago only problem I ever had was the cable adjustment.I would recommend you adjust it first and see how it goes.
Symptoms ------ seemed to sit there a chatter away trying to move off but couldn't. I adjusted cable and it purred away for several hundred more hrs until upgrade to 216.
