I find the editing a bit confusing and I dont know why, but when I try adding anything in the place box a picture of brisbane backyards is in there. I had to delete everything I had in there because it kept linking me to his place marker

Hi Glenno,

There is currently a bug with Google maps that can jumble up info from one place marker to another - Google are working on fixing it.

You will see the image but unless you have a tick in the box that says "show picture" no one else will see it when they click on your placemarker.

If you want to check what your information looks like to the rest of the viewers, once you have finished with your edit, sign out of the map (top right). The map will still be open but you no longer have collaborator access. Click on your place marker and you'll see what everyone else sees.

I recommend using the Rich Text format for editing too.

If you're really having trouble let me know and I can set it up for you.

I would strongly advise against adding your email address to your place mark. The public can view this map and that means spam harvester bots can too. If you have your email shown they will harvest it and increase your spam emails.
