dye in weed spray?
what sort of die is used in weed spray to detect where youve sprayed is it just food die?

I have used a product called Green Olonga. You can purchase it from Globe Australia or Turfcare.

I use Kendon Herbicide dye. You can purchase it from most hardware stores. Instructions are 10to20 ml. per 10lts. of spray but I only use 5mls.

I use blue because it's a subtle colour. it looks almost green on grass. red generates unnecessary concern, Green is used for photo shoots. and is usually more expensive. I only use it on bigger jobs and away from paths or concrete etc. not that its such a big problem, it will just hose off but then there goes your chemical. did a lawn once with it and the next mornings dew freshened it up, the owners came out in bare feet and walked blue prints through the house. not so good..
great in a spot spray tank in a paddock. I use about rate is 100ml to 50lt, ie 2ml/lt or thereabouts.
just enough to see where uve been next round. otherwise totally safe as far as I know.
