I wear redbacks. Have for years, pay about $110. I have flat feet so cheap ones are no good after spending 20 years on concrete for 8 hrs a day probably made the problem worse. Actually have fitted insoles for my golf shoes and should be wearing them in my work boots aswell but more than 4 hrs at a time is not good.

Someone needs to make work boots with raised arches and inner heels inside them. I would pay $300 if they did, flat feet make not only your feet hurt but your ankles knees and back hurt

the slave wears redbacks i brought a pair because she said they where so much better but found the fit wasn't as good as the blundstones so changed back the blundstone also cost a lot less
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Redbacks here. Make sure you use leather protector on them to stop them cracking.

    Cheers Rick

Redbacks for me too. I think I pay about $90 for mine. I buy the inner soles from the chemist to raise the arch for about $40 as I have the same problem. It makes them more comfy too.

I hope "the slave" doesn't get any time on the computer or you'll be in trouble. Mine would kill me if she read anything like that...

Im a Blundstone wearer myself. The ones that are supposed to have water proof treated leather. Been wearing Blunnies for years but tried some Redbacks a few years ago. I found that the plasticy, semi translucent tread wasnt very good on slippery cement etc. They were comfy though!

I have had blundstones and redbacks. I find the redbacks a lot more comfortable then the blundstones. I bought a pair both at the sametime and the blundstones are now in the bin as they fell apart and the redbacks are still going strong.
