i believe Simon from Shepparton Lawn Care quite likes them as well
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
I use Mongrel boots with a rub of Dubbin once a week, have lasted 18 months so far, my Blundstones only lasted 9 months
Steel Blue and Ascent are the only 2 Brands that have Podiatrist's stamp of approval. I have had a problem with my left heel.Plus I have to wear custom made insoles otherwise I'd be at the dole office. Rolling my ankles playing squash years earlier has weakened ligaments in my ankle. After working on 2 separate jobs with very steep sloping blocks, my heel became very sore. I had to go to the podiatrist. For a while it was touch and go if I could continue! Getting good boots is a good investment for an important part of your business. Your feet. Don't sell them short. I did and have paid the price.
Thanks all, I`ll give the red backs a go they look the goods on there web site http://www.redback.net.au/home.html But they don`t say there local dealer..Are they sold in a chain store ??
....Nothing like a good whipper....
I am on my second pair of Ascent boots like a comfy pair of runners $180 bucks from Athletes foot.
Hi Peter,
Get lace up boots, they support your ankle better. I have a similar problem, sprained my ankle to many times playing sport when younger, now need to have strapping or lace up boots when working on sloping ground.
Mack Master Q. Steel capped and bloody hard wearing. Without doubt the most comfortable boot I have had. I sometimes forget I have them on. Agree with the ankle support. It is a must. I have worn boots all my life. Hell I even have good ones for going out. I prefer to wear a boot than a shoe. Feel somehow undressed in shoes. Can't stand slip on boots. Boots are essential to your health. You spend all day in them so make sure you get a good boot.
Cheers

Agree 100% on lace ups - only way to go. Was told as a young 'un, look after your teeth, eyes and feet. Sound advice
