I reject your reality and substitute my own.
I became a fan of Tom Waites when I was only 11yo when I stumbled on Down by Law on SBS way back when - Most favourite movie ever.

I now have 5.1 Pioneer in the garage with a 6 changer and Mule variations never leaves the tray.

Never heard him before. Not bad. Not bad at all.

I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather.....not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car!!!
Oh my funkin goodness! That song got soooooooooooooooooooooo over played around my house! Pity!
I still like this one. The vid is awesome!... http://youtu.be/rvbSiQZfACQ
One of my fav bands. On regular shuffle....http://youtu.be/BIkod60zViM
Yeah, they got sick of them real quick at our house when I swap "Know" for "Mow". More mowing songs please,....got some annoying to do.
Mick, I have followed Gotye a bit cause he was a local, and attended the local college. Not sure about "Hearts a miss".
And I agree that all the great bands were in the late 70s era. I was only 7 or 8 then but the songs have resonated to the current day, and were all still huge during the 80s and 90s when I was a young fella.
