Just checked the link in the ad and saw the longer shaft version I was thinking of. The one in the ad's not the muliti-tool version is it?

Echo and shindy! Shindy m242 - us$300 and longer hedge trimmer attachment us$260. Add us$125. for shipping approx so probably get it for under us$700. If you wait a while that might equate to AUD $600 OR SO

I got quoted $950 here the other day for that outfit,$1150.00 for the M2510. You have to remember the banks(them again)will take their cut of the transaction. If the aus hits 1.04us it should be about even money.

Now we need to get serious on this while the $ is still up there. What would be our bargaining power asa group. If we could say to 1 supplier we can guarantee you 10 or 20 items at a time we would be bound to have more clout to bring them down a bit. I am thinking of mowers and whippys. If we can buy enough we could probably get them to do a deal on shipping too.

Anyone know what their prices are on new Honda 16's and shipping. I am ready to buy another and have a mate interested in one as well. I am also after a echo whippy and blower. I have sent off a few emails but not much back and don't have a lot of time to follow them up

Well I am ready to buy more, but I think if you buy over $1000 there may be implications for customs/gst/duty etc?? Read up on it. Dont know about mowers but some prices on some things are ok, others maybe not so good.

I was looking at mowers a while back and from memory there wasn't a lot of savings involved on Honda's.

Watch out for the Spyware on this site. Shipping a little more expensive here = $172 for a backpack blower!$125 at speedwaysales

lol...maybe your right. But here's the thing. I get bugger all calls for ride on work. How the hell do you guys pull it in. Most of my regs cannot be done with a ride on. So what do I do. Buy a ride on and chase that work or consolidate my round on pushie/self propelled work. This has be a quandry I have been mulling over for some time. I see these blokes with $80K plus tied up in gear and wonder where they get the work from. It is puzzling me at the moment.

Plus if I got a ride on the offsider would want to use it all the time. Would make him soft.
