Well I found a replacement. Just have to get it shipped here from England now. Similar to mine except mine had 4 tynes, was about 60 years old and cost me $3.

    Hi PaulG
Yes block did have a house on it. I guess the ride on fellow thinking was $15 for fuel $40 for me. Anyhow you win some & you lose some.
Sorry to hear about you losing your rake/hoe. Always annoying that. Would one of those 3 prong weeders do the job?
    Cheers

I picked up my ZTR spindles this arvo and after being constantly told that it was a warranty job, they hit me with a $650 bill. They say Bynorm hasn't fully agreed yet but when they do, they will refund me. As if that's going to happen now they have my money. I can't afford to have the mower out of service any longer.

If I knew this was a possibility, I could have done it myself for about $100 of new bearings and the machine would have been working yesterday.

I was thinking I was a bit flush with cash for once, so have organised to have a look at a near-new chainsaw in the morning but this will put a dampener on that

On the positive side, I put the spindles back in and shouted it new belts and blades and it's cutting like new again

$650 if they don't i would consider taking it up with consumer affairs as it sounds like it wasn't up to the job it was sold for
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Some bastard stole my fuel cans from the trailer. I think I'm more pissed off with myself for leaving the tailgate down so they could see them.

I must be calming down as I get older though because I'm not as pissed off as I expected.

On the up side I wanted to get a larger ULP container so I can hold enough to mix the 2 stroke in a smaller one, I guess now I have a good reason.

Hit a hidden cut off tree stump with the ztr and bent the deck...big time.. It's a pressed deck and the top section that holds the spindle bent up so the blade now spins outside the bottom and digs into the ground....messy...
Panel beated it back into shape and new blade and it cuts again..but not really good. Looks like a new deck may be on the next order...$$$...

Did that on my JD, no way to straighten it out. So $2000.00 later. I had a new deck. Luckily I have accidental damage insurance cover on my big mower so got most of it back.

It turns out the house across the road from where I was working was broken into yesterday, so I guess my jerry cans are wherever their valuables are.

Turn up at 19 unit body corp to mow, Police car out front, drive in another police car down the back at a unit. Drive past, it is obvoius they are trying to talk someone out. I can't mow, as I need to go past, and if the situation turned nasty just didnt want to get involved, finally 45 minutes later, he comes out and they cart him away. Of course after that the residents all want to chat so end up loosing about an hour and a half for the day. Thats life I guess.

Could have been worse I suppose. Could have turned up to mow before the Police got there and been taken hostage by numbnuts.

Getting an email from a real estate telling me not to mow a certain property anymore because they have no tenant and no income from the property to pay me. Should have told me that about 4 mows ago. Wondered why the payments hadn't been made.

That's there bad luck. They should still pay for the mows until the cancelled it. Your not a mind reader.

Send them a final notice, with a note that it goes to the debt collector, they will pay.

Been sending invoices to an insurance company for work done at a property (an accident victim) Hadnt seen any payments since last Oct. Worked Nov, Dec and Jan sending invoices, Reminders etc. Ive been stressing about it big time ($2500).
Gave them a call to see what the problem was. Turns out the person whom I was sending the invoices left the company so know one received them! WTF!!!!!!!

I hope to get a decent payment into the bank in the next couple of days!

What annoys me is, know one fcukin told me about it. Im stressing, wondering if there was a problem and if there was let me know etc etc. There could quite well of been a problem, with all the extras I was asked to do so I though that may be it.

I REALLY should of rang them earlier but still, they could of let me know change of details.

Thats it, I've asked them about other properties before and they have said we will let you know when to stop servicing.

Will be giving them a call tomorrow!
