i would like to point out that these graves are in a Islamic country and have been maintain in this country for nearly 60 years without any reported incidents in that time so i don't think you should really condemn a whole country or religion for the actions of a small group of radicals i would say it's more likely some of Gaddafis former adherents trying to cause trouble between western nations and the transitional government for there own political gain

as for the price of gas don't forget the government gave out subsides to switch to gas but is now increasing the excise on LPG to bring it closer to the petrol excise

The thing with LPG/Petrol/Diesel is that it all comes from the same barrel and they get the same amount of each (or thereabouts) everytime. LPG was cheap because it was a product with little demand but had to be produced anyway. Once the demand increased the relative price for that product also increased with the other products decreasing.
Say the oil companies need to get $200 (ignoring excises, middle men etc) from a barrel (200L) of oil and there are 3 products (simplified obviously) made from it. 50L diesel 70L unleaded and 80L LPG.
50L @ 1.36 = $68
70L @ 1.20 = $84
80L @ 0.60 = $48
OR
50L @ 1.20 = $60
70L @ 1.086 = $76
80L @ 0.80 = $64
If the demand is up for one they increase the price of that and reduce the others because it has to be sold. While it looks like only LPG is going up because the others aren't coming down, the reality is they're getting more return for their barrel of oil but there's no uproar because it's coming from LPG and not ULP. The govt incentives were just a waste of the govts money and really ended up costing the people who had switched over out of their own pocket as it caused the demand (and therefore price) to increase on LPG.
Feel free to correct anything I've written, that's just the way I understand it. It comes down to the fact that oil companies are there to make money not offer you a service, the service you receive only exists as a means for them to make their money. The same thing goes for banks who are not there to help you buy a house but to let you syphon your money into their account from yours. If they can make more money by increasing interest rates (accounting for lost customers, reduced business etc) then they have to do it as it's their duty to shareholders.
Narrow your work area John then you wont be at the mercy of these bast*rds.
Hi Chris they r not without there problems as well seems a modern diesel engine's injectors dont appreciate our low grade of diesel here in Australia and are its starting to become an expensive issue. Very expensive to replace an injector on a modern diesel at the moment so they get ya there too. Been told by a diesel injector specialist that they are over coming the problems but that doesn't help the ones already in service.
