Afrer working all through a wet, cold cruddy winter without so much as a sniffle, and now, with the promise of warmer weather just around the corner, I go down with the flu.

Making a booking with a someone to do a massive green and rubbish cleanup, they said they need it done ASAP as they move out in 1day, book a time to be there client said well be home perfect time. Drive halfway across the Adel to get there (40 min from home), get there on time and no one home, ring them and they say they are 30 min drive away on their way to the new house with a load they need to drop off and they'll call me back. I stupidly wait 45 min for them, get frustrated ring them and no answer. What a waste of 2 hours, oh well they can enjoy cleaning up on their own good luck not my problem anymore.
Independent and i know it
I'm grumpy with plasterers today. Leaving great big clumps of their crap all over one of my nice lawns leaving me to choke on teh dust as I mow through it.
I'd like to find where they live a leave some glypho all over their lawns. Oops, sorry, didn't realise I'd left that behind...

i'll see your asparagus fern and raise you bougainvillea.
yesterday i felt like a pincushion, asparagus fern, bougainvillea, roses and cycads and a small fan palm that i dont know with big spikes. however whilst weeding under the orange tree(did i mention that that had spikes too) i was attacked by gravity fed oranges which i decided to keep, take home, juice an dilute with vodka
I've got a soft spot for Bougainvillea. It seemed to be the official flower of my old town (Richmond Qld). All of the centre gardens were lined with them and they really made the town look good. And not much else with any colour would grow up there.
But I have to quote to remove some here this arvo, so I'm sure all those nice memories will quickly disappear.
cant stand the stuff. my skin welts up on any scratches from it so i dont prune the big ones
