Instant turf supplier thinking delivering 4 hours late and literally throwing the rolls on the driveway is perfectly acceptable.
Might try waking up laughing about it?
    Cheers astro.

My Mate of 32yrs who shares my study/office wall reckons it's OK to crack one at 11.00am all the time. So it would have been be all good Paul.

Get a text from a customer, "you didn't cut the back". Yeah like there were 50 dog piles, bones etc. no lawn, just dust and she expects me to cut it. The chq. was $5 short too. Only been doing this job as she was referred by a good customer who used to refer a lot of her friends. Now I have let her go... and her sister. That's the problem with referrals, if one turns bad then you have to let the group go.

I can't put up with the disrespect of someone that just expects you to clean up after their dog. I do have one other customer that has dogs and doesn't clean, but she pays top dollar.

I had a customer since last November who always had dog dropping everywhere and never cleaned any up from visit to visit. Over winter with the visits out to 5 weeks, there were 5 weeks of dog droppings on the rear lawns. I tolerated it for 3 of those drawn out visits. Each e-mail to say I was coming asked for the DS's to be picked up. Well 5 weeks ago I turned up and the owner said the dog droppings were picked up.
I had edged the lawns front and back and then counted 30+ plus droppings from a medium to large dog who was feed canned food.
I spat it within myself and walked out and sent a professionally worded e-mail back that day explaining that why I left and that I will not return. He replied and said what type of a lawning bloke was I, not to mow over it and deal with it.
I was the happiest I have ever been after walking from that job and it's the best decision I have ever made in my business moving forward as I have no dog issues to deal with any more with any client. Yes I do have two other customers with dogs who ensure all is perfect for my arrival.

Well Done Wyadra, doesn't it feel magic to off load this type of disrespectful customer.

Edit, I rarely accept cheques as they are pain, time consuming to express deposit and cost money in fees to do so. Profit margins are low enough in our game on standard residential mows let alone getting paid by cheque. Direct deposit is sooo much easier.
    Cheers Garry

Though the one customer I still have who never picks up understands the situation. I only ever ask for $70, but she always pays $100. Last time she asked if I would do a major cleanup, price wasn't discussed, I got there and there was $500.....cash.... under the doormat. She can get 10 more dogs if she keeps paying like that.

i disagree with this i would get rid of the pita and wait for the good one to drop me or ask me what happened i have dropped clients that have been referrals and not had a problem with the referee
P.s i do agree with the part about the other client there is a difference between a client who pays to have their lawn cut and expects you to clean up D.S.and one who pays you to mow the lawn and clean up D.S
