Well the meeting with the Dobermans went fine today. No bites, Hugo ended up being a sook and spent 10 minutes nuzzling in for a pat. Didn't stop him having a bit of a bark when I went passed his cage heading for the shed. We had a "let's be friends" session then he/they went in the cages for the day.....didn't want to push my luck.

    What's EWP Kathryn?

I've got 4 large Cocos to take down in my own garden. Will probably just break out the climbing spikes and bring them down.

At 34 fred im not passed it, just not working as a tree lopper. The palm had to be taken apart in pieces due to its height and the drop zone. I used to love ewp work. Up north on the gove peninsula you could give ocean reports on 3 sides whilst up there. Id go back to tree lopping in a flash if there was a reliable local operator.
An ewp is as cherry picker paul. Elevated work platform.
P.s. Never learnt the climbing side so too chicken **** to use spikes
    Indy and proud

Getting a SMS at 9pm to advise that i have broken there sprinkler system. After replying back, they said it dislodged when they turned the sprinklers on tonight and they can't get it to go back on cuz it's "busted".

Does anyone know how much the pop up heads cost (where to purchase them from in sysdney) and are they easy to replace?

Why people put these on the lawns and not 10mm back in the garden bed is beyond me!!!!!

any hardware store (bunnings etc) sell them, either the head or whole popup, very cheap, unscrew the damaged one and screw in the replacement. 60 second job

Not sure iin sydney but i go to water dynamics up here and there like $6 for a body and nozel. They unscrew and the new one screws in provided you didnt bust the thread on the tee at the bottom If you did you need a set of multirips a new tee about $2 little less and 2 grip rings not sure what they cost i buy them in bags of 100 and they last ages.

    Thanks...

Update... I went to clients place and It is busted on the tee at the bottom (clean break).

Go to bunnings and purchased 1 x 1/2 circle 15mm pop up, a new tee and even 2 new grip rings... I went all out (all expense spared )

    Total - $4.47c

Turned up at clients place at 7.25pm right on dark... takes 18 seconds to change.

2 boys (probably 5 and 7) are running on the grass and ask what i'm doing? I'm fixing the sprinkler....

Oh, the one we jump on all the time and has broke... Thank my lucky stars the homeowner was standing within a meter away.

My reply was short but sweet... I thought so!

Never seen someone run so quick to grab there wallet
