Reminds me of the old Mouse Trap game as the object has to go many places to get to the destination.
What next, a stone enters an open house door, bounces of the wall oven which is now cracked, proceeds to zig zag into the lounge room and crack a treasured vase. Then richotte into the bedroom and dent the omega watch sitting on the bedside table. Not to mention poor old Ginger the cat eats it and gets stomach pains.

Blaktop, not taking the piss out you, just wondering what I would calmly say or would I be more colorful like a Ken Done Painting if a donky call came my way.
Good luck with it all, as crap like that can cause uneeded worry.
    Cheers Garry

Went to mow the lawn of my very first client from when I started up 3 years ago. The job has always been a pita made worse by the fact that It is seriously under priced and the giant labrador who's sh1t has not been picked up once in that 3 years. Not to mention the kids toys, castle, swings, trampoline etc. I have always been pretty rough with it and never used a catcher because of the sh1t. But it's always been left lookin neat and tidy after I'm done. And the client herself is really nice. It's a job that is the only one in this particular suburb which is out of the way and always takes around 90 minutes to complete. But I've held on to it out of loyalty and as a reminder not to under quote jobs. But today I turned up to do it and it' a bit overgrown as I have not been able to get there due to the weather. So it's a week over due which is my fault. Anyway I do the edges out the front, all good, and head out the back and start whipping down the longest areas which are about a foot and a half in some sections. Then BANG! Sh1t all over my face, in my eye, in my mouth, on my bloody teeth, all over my pants, shirt etc. That was enough for me. Machine off, gate slammed, inappropriate language, wash off, tools away, in the car and never to return. The most traumatic experience I have had since starting work in this industry 13 years ago. On the bright side that was my last remaining dogsh1t client. GONE!

Can relate to your story Jason, took on a similar client a yr ago and he never picked any dog sh1ts and he feed the dog wet canned dog food.
Counted 35 to 40 dog sh1ts plus crap/food wrappers lying about everywhere. Started asking for dog sh1ts to be picked up prior to visits which he started to do, but at least 20 wet dog sh1ts still around.
Was getting Pee'd off my now and made a firmer request to have it attended to. Turned up to mow and he said dog sh1ts all picked up man.
Started the edges out front, went out outback and 30 sloppy mines everywhere, packed up tools and left, sent a calm polite professional e-mail when I got home as it was the last job of the day. He responded saying that thats my job as a mowing man to deal with it, I never replied back as I would have cut loose and he would have had that on file. I service a quailty home opposite this wanker and put my nose up everytime to him.

Took today off as I woke up very sore across all me back muscles and across the shoulders due to hedging with my multi tool using the extended arm and high ladders yesterday. Yep good money, but not if your too sore to work the next day. But working 7 days this week, so will treat it as a RDO.
    Cheers Garry

Jason I can relate. Had a very similar experience yesterday. Elderly client, one of my originals, who is paying about $20 less then what I now charge for the same level and amount of work.

Got there and hooked into the trimming along some overgrown pathways through the cottage garden in her front yard and splat - straight through a hidden cat-crap - which went pretty much everywhere except my face, so home to get changed I went.

Was sort of fortunate in a way as when I came home to change I saw I had left the mower catcher here which would have meant a trip home anyway. Tried not to let it set the tone for the day but it's hard to shake those things from your mind.

I was pretty close to quitting that job, but I didn't as it's usually not like that.

(If Sharpie's reading this it's the job where you met up with me the day you were in Toowoomba.)

I've hit "fresh" cat Sh!t whilst mowing and the smell was horrific (none landed on me). I could only imagine if it actually landed on me while whippering, let alone on my face, mouth or nose...

And after the rain the ferals are coming out of the woodwork....."$100 to mow a lawn, you have to be kidding"........"Actually it's only $50....for each mow and I'll have to mow it twice.....or not at all, up to you"
