i'm in brisbane bud, as you know.

and if they said call you when it needs mowing, id be like, if im not too busy, i'll charge you extra to go back to the first mow (casual rate plus) up to you.

its like charging extra when someone puts you off then wants the mow when the grass is knee high - you dont do it for the regular price, do you?

its a way of ensuring they dont put you off for a week, then expect it done for the reg price. (we all know theyre just saving dough off your back, right?)

so if you normally paid me $50 every 3 weeks, as a regular, your first mow/casual price would be say $60 (always charge more for first mow to show they get the discount as a regular, and it also cancels out the liars that claim they want a regular service but only get one mow - they pay the casual rate, tough luck)

then if you rang me and cancelled, and re booked it for a week later i would charge the casual rate $60 + $20 cancellation, so $80 for 4 weeks (which means its cheaper to just get the regular mow by $5 and not muck me about.

and if they want to go to the centrelink mowing guy, let em,mate, i dont need em, and they would be replaced within a week. i got too many customers who are good people and want regular good quality service

i just dont care about them or what they do if they dont care about getting truly regular mowing.

if you put up with their rubbish, all you will get is rubbish from them.

expect more, get more is what i say.

Nothing wrong with being a beer money Bob as long as you plan to buy 2 slabs of corona for every hour you work

checking the radar and seeing that it's not raining then going outside and getting wet,no idea how long this drizzle will hang around for and don't feel like working in it either

yeah we had that sneaky drizzle. you think its harmless, then all of a sudden you realise your soaked, cold (and sweating at the same time) and completely miserable. called it a day at 11.30.

    gripe:
on my way home i see a council "worker" driving their ute spraying some chemical from a boom spray attached to the back of the ute, whilst its raining 1-5mm. another complete waste of rate payers money. they were spraying the edge where the road meets the grass. my guess is glypho. a total waste. unless anyone knows of another chem that isnt affected by rain?

actually i think you will find dihydrogen monoxide will have a better chance at killing plants when sprayed it the rain than if it is sprayed on the plants when they're dry
