Worked all day Saturday and partied hard at a Rolling Stones tribute band last Night.
Sunday morning mobile rings, still in bed and I answer. A pestering potential customer would not accept a "No" that a quote could and will not be given over the phone.
She said come out to me house now as she was home. Said no I'm already booked out, that is true as I'm working tomorrow Q/Birth holi to catch up.
Can you imagine ringing an Electrician for a power point install Sunday morning during a long weekend.
If he answered at all, it may be a nah mate, on a charter fishing trip at Bermagui.
Guess at least potential jobs are still being phoned, but like Mow And Go I'm still busy and only get a day off if it rains.
Was going out tonight to see "Mental as Anything", but too scared I'll party hard again and struggle to do the jobs tomorrow.
Cheers Garry

Banks are arseholes. For 12 years I've been paying my home-loan weekly in the belief, as told back then by the bank, that it helped pay off your loan quicker and reduce the amount of interest paid.
I was just told on the phone today that's not true.
I understand that to pay weekly you end up with an extra 4 weeks a year but you pay for it.
If you pay $2,000 a month and make 12 payments a year = $24,000
as opposed to: if you pay $500 a week and make 52 payments = $26,000
Thats how I always understand how that works
What did they say Paul?
That's what I thought too but the guy on the phone today said that when I make my weekly payments that money is held, somewhere - somehow, until the total amount is applied once per month to my home loans. (I have a fixed and a variable loan).
I didn't think about the extra payments but he assured me I was no better off by paying weekly, which was the direct opposite of what I was told when the loans were set up years ago.
Makes me wonder now where that extra 4 weeks money is going?
I'm going to ring again tomorrow and asked to have it clarified as it sounds like there's a bit of a rort going on. I have some mammoth financial issues to sort out at the moment and this looks like another one to add to the list.
Sounds like someone is having a lend of you, pardon the pun.
I also pay weekly into my mortgage and the payments go straight into the mortgage bank account, so when the monthly interest bill hits it sees the weekly payments in there already, hence reducing the interest bill, as long as I keep up the weekly repayments the interest bill gets less each month and I pay off the mortgage sooner.

finished the tool box last night ...put it on the back of the truck just to have it somewhere out of the way until I mount it (at 1100Hx1000Wx2100D its too big to have laying around) ...so I was feeling pretty happy this morning when I loaded my gear up around it this morning ...that was until I got to the first job. I had a little spraying to do on this job ...go to get the trusty solo diaphragm sprayer ....and the damn hand piece is broken in two and glypho all over the tray was not a happy camper ...and of course, the hand pieces arnt available just anywhere ...grrrrr damn german quality products lol anyway that's the end of my rant
