Gardening at clients house and bitten by tradesmen dog.
Had to have anti-biotic injection to control a bad infection in my hand.
Luckily was wearing gloves.
The tradesman heard what happened and took off.F###### STYLE.
low life ahle, should have reported him to the police he should at least be up for your medical expenses.
Clients who won't reply to emails and phone calls. Makes it very hard to arrange jobs.
Some low life Pri.. knocked off my near new steel blu boots from the back of my ute.
Had them there as I wear them in using them for half day only. Did not keep them in the ute in respect to the guy working with me for the day.
Went to change them over and bugger me
I decided to finish concreting the foundations for my shed extension this morning. Measured it up and thought 0.75 m would be plenty, so I ordered that in sand/gravel blend.
The office must have thought that 0.7m was close enough, and invoiced me for that.
The bobcat operator must have thought 2 buckets (0.66m) was close enough.
I just finished, and guess what? I'm a wheelbarrow short.
Is this really fair. There is a contractor in our area that is pulling out of the industry and has given all his customers to another contractor. What I am disappointed in is the fact that two of the customers are in the street right behind our place and mark drives right past these two houses every day. Considering that mark is good friends with this guy and knows where we live it just doesn't seem right to me. But the customers have apparently accepted the contractor that is taking over his round.
I spend most of my money on beer and horses, I just waste the rest....

Thre other question did he give them or did he sell them, even if not for mega dollars, but for some compensation. At the end of the day its his decision
It's sort of along the lines of if you see another contractor doing homes in your own street or just around the corner from you - why aren't they your customers? I see it here in my own neighbourhood and it comes down to not marketing yourself well enough or often enough. Get out there and letterbox-drop your own neighbourhood at least every month.

I personally dont put out flyers within about 15 houses either side of me, far enough away that I would never personally know them as a neighbour. Just have seen to many neighbour disputes that have started over a work/money issue, its not worth the hassle
Spot on. I do several around my house & one is a PITA with money. Cant tell them to piss off or just not turn up as I cross paths with them all the time. Other thing is that because these type of client a neighbours the feel it's perfectly ok to bother you at ANY TIME about work even in the middle of grand final day celebrations.
Yup, I have one over the road......needs the lawn regularly but doesn't like to pay anywhere near as regularly. Not much I can do as I see them all the time......at least they can't get away.Just have seen to many neighbour disputes that have started over a work/money issue, its not worth the hassle
Had a beauty.. quoted a Lady 2 doors up for overgrown lawn and pruning. gave her a price and she tried to haggle.. she called me back when I said goodbye, and I did her lawn. then she went all over the joint pointing out bits she said I had missed.. well, I said, thats called "the garden". But I slashed her garden as well.. then she tried to re-negotiate the price because it would be a regular. I said I had given her the regular price already and please could she pay me? and she did. but someone else did her pruning and mowing from then on. fair enough.. except that a month or two later she texted me and asked me to do some odd jobs for her, unpaid, in the spirit of neighbourliness.. On New Years Day!!!
