I don't think he is concerned who sees your pricing, rather it reflects badly on the association and the rest of us that youre threatening to "free weed spray" a clients lawn for not paying the full price ...vigilante style **** doesn't need to be broadcast. I am no angel, don't know many that are, but its one thing to do something than to broadcast it to the free public in a group that it may affect someone else too imho.
I dont break things ...I just use them beyond their operational limitations

Yes I have to agree too, not a good thing to be seen by the general public re free weed spray, take it into the private Forum for that sort of comment.
I remember one time i was asked to do a rotary hoeing job, took about 45mins.He said i'll pay you next week.
Next week i called around and was told through the door gap behind the security screen that he declared himself bankrupt and i'll be receiving the papers from the administrator soon.i never got paid.
He set me up good.
I txt a client this afternoon reminding them of my service tomorrow, they he put me off for a fortnight last time so it has been a month (first time they have done this). Just received a reply "make sure you do the hedges out front s they are out of control"
I so want to reply"no **** Sherlock, it's been a month "

Hi Lynda, your lawn is due for mowing tomorrow.I'll be around in the morning.
No thank you, i don't need it yet.

All this for a $20 job, have to wait to see what's the grass like when i get there.May have to remind her the $20 is for regular cut depending on seasons growth.
Not $20 for above the ankle
broke a governor spring on a briggs 850, after a lot of googling found a supplier in Oz (who also runs a mower forum) wants $18 + 10.75 shipping....this spring is a tiny thing, an inch long x quarter inch round. They sell in the US for $3.90, (I bought 2)
I'm constantly pizzed off at the prices we face in Oz

Wonder if it's something you could buy from an auto shop; the kind if spring that might be found on old carby linkages etc?
Try places like, blackwoods, Coventry fasteners and bearing places. Most keep a range of springs.
