"Success occurs when no one is looking, failure occurs when everyone is watching."
This is what mine says, haven't sought legal advice or anything but it's pretty self explanatory:
" Please be aware we do not accept liability for any breakages due to flying objects. The safest thing to do is cover low windows, glass sliding doors and remove cars from any areas that may be affected."
I've only broken my own window since I've been using it so it hasn't been challenged yet.
Just in case the client's insurers want to pursue you for the cost, I suggest that in addition to the client warranting the yard is free of objects that may become projectiles and that you are indemnified against damages, that you add :
1. in case damages is sought, your liability will be limited to $50 per incident
2. client accepts to reimburse cost associated with damage to equipment, medical expenses and downtime in event of incident as a result of striking concealed objects in lawn.

I am going to discuss liability from now on with my clients. The difficulty arises from the fact that all the land I service is considered public land under body corporate control.
I already wont mow any lawns with cars, play equipment, toys or dog poo on them.
For the main part as I mow every fortnight the grass is rarely long enough to hide anything anyway.
I will definitely be more careful from now on that is for sure
oops
double post
Maybe if I...or if I do this ...and that...ok....brain fade...this took some thinking...I hope this worked.
