Going to Mounty Beauty Holiday Centre with me wife and caravan late tomorrow (Friday) arvo returning to work on Tuesday. That should get it of me mind.

    Thanks again

Not worth thinking about mate. There are people out there who thrive on that sort of behaviour, especially when they realise even their dream fancy car doesn't make em happy either.

Yeah - what if he'd tried to accelerate at you ?, man, missed opportunity or what ?!!
Place full of cameras, nice little roll over the bonnet (a 15km/hr impact is softer than falling over), land on the ground and scream for the ambulance.
Little day visit to the courthouse and guess who's gunna be driving the luxury car ? - (not him)

Best thing you can do now is just feel sorry for such a d!ckhead. He's rich and messed up - you're the better man. - Remember that and smile knowingly at him next time you see him. (it messes with their minds).

If you let him get to you - he beats you,............ be satisfied in knowing that people usually only "lose it" because they're so close to losing everything.
    "Can't" is a dirty 4 letter word.
If someone says "Can't" , take the "T" off the end and brew it.
Sip on a mugfull, relax, and take a look at what you've got left to work with.

Go to bunnies and see they are selling trailers. Interested cause I'm selling mine. They are selling 8x5 gal single axle (unbraked) trailers for $1800. I have heard chinese trailers are coming in and its true because this was the most pathetic, chepast quality i have ever seen. It was actually pop riveted together. The steel was no thicker than a 1960's soft drink can. How did this country come to the point where garbage like that is allowed to be imported to the detrimite of local manufacturers. It's a disgrace. It's going to happen with everything, caravans will be next. When you import this garbage it's not even repairable cause the metal is so poor. There is not even a job for some bloke to fix them when they break after going over the first bump.

seriously, send a email to John Gillam & Richard Goyder, AO https://www.wesfarmers.com.au/contact.html Raise all your concerns , make sure you say people maybe be killed when these trailers fail and they will fail on Australian road. John Gillam & Richard Goyder, AO

Was at a trailer shop a while back getting some R pins and was talking to the owner. They tried some trailers from China, looked OK he said but turned out to be rubbish - never again. Was at Bunnings a few sundays back desperate for some hose clamps. Looked like they were made out of the same soft drink cans - walked out empty handed. Only go there for the odd bolts and screws.

same with motorcycle helmets, thousand dollar Bell helmet, five hundred dollar Nolan and the $29 black open face Harley hat all sport the same safety sticker because government makes so much import out of these items - safety doesn't really come into it does it. Just for interest sake a Nolan full face costs about two twenty dollars in the states but can't be worn here because the government doesn't see a "safety" sticker but the import which costs in excess of five hundred dollars does (exactly the same helmet, same factory etc) - that's how much tax the gubberment gouges for a single helmet Are we to believe that the 29 buck hat is as safe as the 1000 dollar Bell cause it sports exactly the same sticker. In this case its not value in cheap but look around, cheap certainly still sells..

Agree with the sentiment, but not certain that it's direct govt tax (import duty).
I think that the real issue is acceptance of others standards ... Unless it's testeted and certified to Aust/NZ standards, it cannot get 'the sticker'. This testing is expensive and I feel that the companies that have the monopoly on it literally 'gouge' those who have to have testinging done. Standards Aust areequally to blame ... Since this whole standards thing was 'corporatized/privatised' ... Look at the cost of just trying to buy a copy of one of the mandated standards.
Eg a copy of the 'building code' is well over $300 (I think) as don't be shocked by the cost ofthe sparky wiring code or plumbing code.

Now if we accepted the standards mandated by (reputable) os countries, then we could eliminate all this extra and non essential cost. Eg why should not a car built to say German design rules (automatically) comply with ADR rules and be acceptable in Aust without needing more local 'crash testing' etc.
Similarly, it's just like the old days when trade 'licences' were not valid/accepted across state boundaries.

Don't read this as saying stuff built to some 'os standards' is acceptable here automatically .. eg Chinese 'Standards'.

Hi guys and girls need your thoughts. I've had a client since 2009 doing the lawn till 2014, in 2011 they said the price of the lawn they can't afford anymore so the told me they are going to get someone cheaper. So I let them go 2013 I get a call saying that they not happy with the job of the other contractor and wanted me to resume my services so I ageed at the same rate. Mid to late the year of 2014 they did it again this time without telling me .i rang the client a few times and got no response so I left it at that. Yesterday I get a sms that they want to resume my services again. My question is do I take the client back or do I not respond and let them go elsewhere. your thoughts on what you guys would do in the same situation. The lawns a 900sqm. Thanks Mark grasshopper mowing services

I have a 3 times and your out rule. People don't change so they'll do it again. Had one recently that was a A grade customer that changed and started stuffing me around so after the 3rd incident I wouldn't answer his calls to resume. In the end I did answer and gave him a reality check ultimately telling him to get someone else. My round's a lot better for it.

Personally I would say no to them. They obviously have no loyalty to you whatsoever and will do it to you again if they get the chance. I would tell them up front that I value customer loyalty and I dont think they fit the bill for my customers anymore. They appear to be using you to get the place up to scratch and then dumping you for a cheaper operator each time.

If you do take them back then increase the price and if the ask why tell them it is because you no longer see the as a loyal long term customer. Unless you really need the coin I would let them be someone elses worry
    Cheers

Just carry on regardless, if they want your services on an ad hoc basis just treat it like that. Adjust your price if necessary.

i would treat them as a casual customer and charge accordingly,i know sometimes its hard when you loose a customer but this one seems to show no love and you will probably get the flick again...treat it as a bonus job rather than a reliable job , so charge it high and do it with a smile on your dial...
