The only way your day could have been worse was if the dog fastened on to your crown jewels!

My day was a walk in the park in comparison to yours. Hope you are having a stress relieving ale or two, I think you deserve it.

Yes, I hate wet grass. sticks to everything, it's heavy, clumps up in balls can't do anything with it takes longer to do the job.

Did a job yesterday - the yard hadn't been mowed for a couple of months so was likely to contain cyclone debris from the big tress in the yard - asked if they had removed all the rubbish and they said yes. I told them they would have to pay for any damage to the rideon if it connected with something that damaged the machine and all of a sudden they found a heap more stuff....and I found more on the rideon but avoided damage as the deck was high enough/ I saw it in time <grr!>

Thats why I sacrificed a weekend and did 2 full days. With wet weather coming to Vic on Monday and most of the week I could not afford to get behind working in the rain. Will be thinking about you TLG!!

Unfortunately I don't have a choice at this time of year. Even if it's not raining starting early in the morning with the dew is bad enough.

I gave my ZTR a wash this morning because it was caked with mud and grass, started it, put it on the trailer, got to the job and it wouldn't start. I Checked the fuses, one was blown, luckily I had a replacement one with me - put the new one in still no good. Went back home, assumed something got wet so I blew with compressed air around the terminals and fuse box etc then I noticed that a clip that holds a pin in place had come loose and was touching the starter solenoid terminals and shorting it out. Fixed that went back to the job got about 3/4 the way through it then it rained ...... heavy so I finished the job, got soaked, went home had a shower and it the rain still hasn't stopped.

    That makes me grumpy !
