There's many things I don't get grumpy about...
However; mobile phones going off at funerals etc. Heard the same one go off TWICE at Malcolm Fraser's funeral this morning and that was even after the minister had already asked for all phones to be turned off. Really disrespectful!

Tanaka hedger THT-210SB. The Sb I assume stands for son of a *****. Bloody thing floods when I stop it and restart it. Now I know the solution is to not stop it but its unavoidable when the customer comes up and wants a chat. Its only a couple of years old, very light use, always use the right fuel mix, always under cover, don't think I've ever had to clean the air filter cause it gets bugger all use. It floods so bad that fuel runs out of the carby and through the air filter. But that is probably cause I'm so frustrated I try giving it choke. Anyone else have the same issue?

Glad I put in 4 cctv cameras, each being 3MP Hikivision fully zoomable turrets into a IP network Hikivision 2Terabyte NVR iPhone/ipad app last week.

Live on a large block on a hillside in a very good part of town and had CCTV Motion Sensor equipment film my new neighbours next door doing this late today within my property.

Their dad on a Trampoline beside our fence daggling his 7 yr old daughter over the 1.8m C/Bond fence with a further 1 meter retainer drop of that via 1 foot max wide plinth ledge on the utility side of the house.
Daughter runs around to main backyard and up to our very large pool main gate which is fully independently fenced. Also have a 4yr old Golden Retriever who very much likes his 1210sqm block.
Their daughter panics when see us through our 13 meter of glassed windows that encase our family/dinning/kitchen area. Then runs back across the yard, jumps up along the retainer walls and dad hauls his daughter with outstretched arms back over the fence. Have not meet their father yet.
So stupid and they know I have a full sized dog too. Once upon a time you knocked on the front door and ask for assistance for retrieval of a play item.
It's on two camera's and have perfect face zoom capture from the main backyard camera. Plus footage climbing/dangling over the fence, have it exported onto a USB stick.

Said to the professional Security people who I engaged to fit out Alarm System and CCTV that I wanted the best available, just give me a quote and I'll judge if I can afford it.

Edit, found one item at the bottom of the pool and the other over the house roof and to the other side almost over the next retainer wall into the next neighbour.
Always happy to help any neighbour and anyone in the street and I do with the Garden/Mowing Business and get asked to caretake houses all the time in my street and within the business.
    Cheers Garry

Fair enough to be envious of the rate, but take note that the (woman) entrepreneur who created / setup the Red Balloon business has / is making a motza from it!
Maybe it pays more to be the organizer rather than the sweat labour

Sounds like it was well worth the investment mate. Surprising what goes on when your not home. Have you spoken to him yet or are you going to let it slide. I suggest you let him know what you have seen in case he does it again. Imagine if she had injured herself or your dog had attacked her.

I do 2 commercial jobs on a Saturday, and yes I hate working weekends, Anyway one of the jobs had a garden that I used to trim and just keep neat and tidy, not a bad job took just over an hour. On one morning before Christmas I went to mow and they had pulled the whole garden out, strange I thought and I was a little cranky that they hadn't asked me to do the job. So it made my job easier, but they have since had planter boxes put along the front and turf installed by so called landscapers, some of those clowns have a lot to answer for, but that's another story. Went yesterday to mow for the first time since the job was finished, and realized the mower wont fit between the planter boxes and the path along the front of the shop, also these boxes have been painted, so the whipper snipper will take the paint off straight away, pissed off I finished the job and made the decision to give it away , no big deal I hate working weekends.
So onto the next job that is very easy, its only a small bit of nature strip and a carpark that I blow out that's why I do it on a Saturday , no cars, or that's how it should be, as there are always a few cars in the carpark that I think are from the pub over the road, been left overnight. I broke a car window at this job before Christmas, and that happened because they had left a bit of blue metal laying around after putting in a new footpath and I hit it with the whipper snipper. So yesterday there had been a new driveway put in, and stones and crap laying everywhere so I snipped most of it. Now here's the killer I was going to snip the whole lot but didn't because there was a few cars in the carpark, so I thought I would mow because I have never broken a window with the mower...guess what happened.... faaaaarkkkkkk. Next week both jobs get emails service cancelled no more weekend work for this little black duck..........oh and crap surf today...............and hospital on Thursday .............

Was very surprised too, think if I talk to him on the first greet initiated by me directly could spell long term pain. The Mrs and I are in our dream home for life and need to be careful how the topic is raised. But I'm horrified of the danger of the pool unsupervised and the dogs reaction of a visitor scaling the fence and retainer wall.
I worked today all day (Sunday) and the family are in Melb for the Lion King Theatre Show.
Got home mid/late arvo and checked the cameras and every time our dog walked up that side of the house. He had his head looking up at the fence and high sided walled trampoline hard up against the fence.

If the opportunity presents soon to express my concerns, it will be voiced. If a second incident occurs, then it will be addressed immediately regardless of noses getting out of joint and mine will have a kink it by then.
Had the cameras for a week and two days and it surprises me what occurs in the street with the way people drive past and how they drive past and/or stop at like 3.00, 4.00 and 5.00am prior to daylight.

Cost me some healthly dollars for the CCTV and multi touch screen 10 zone networked alarm system. But its nice to know that when we sleep we set a pre programmed perimeter alarm covering doors, house garage and man cave shed at the rear of the yard. Just press a sleep/bed icon on the touch screens or on any of the remotes. Also alarmed the house outright when I was working today. If it goes off, I and my daughters get contacted via our phones by the system itself and I can then view cctv on the iphone/ipad. My wife can't access her phone at work.

When the alarm installer left, I thought what a wanker I was for committing to this expensive sh*t. Now I love it and don't care about the cost.
Also my business gear is protected too as all equipment/ride-on/trailer and Hilux is garaged at night under alarm.

Edit, no wonder dogs bark at night, friggen stray cats wander at night.
    Cheers Garry

    Nlalm,

    Now that's a crap day.
Felt the same way about two of my $60 very small Commercial Jobs. Sent termination of service notices to both to reduce the amount time spent working on weekends. As I still have other much better paying fortnightly weekend work.

The problem was that one of them begged me to come back repeatedly with a payrise. It's an easy job, but contributed to a longer day working on Saturdays. I mellowed and enjoy it better now knowing its earning more and I get paid eft within 48 hrs of invoice submittal due to late paying being a gripe too.
The commercial jobs are my bread and butter when residential slows down over winter.
    Cheers Garry
