I forget the name but here goes,.. welding electrodes that iv'e seen boilermakers use at the steelworks that are designed for hard use surfaces. Each shutdown some machine parts were 'topped up' with a few runs and ground back into shape. Worth a try as the blades your using are designed to wear out so you have to buy more. I think the chance of being off balance is minimal, worth a shot??
Maybe a bit more roughage in your diet dean!ha!last weeks rain has greened this up a bit.luckily not much more forecast between now and xmas...back to grumpy thread;on call customers who wait till last minute and want lawns done before Christmas even though I've told them to book early, then I'll bust my backside trying to do them all and won't hear from again till February..
^^ l'm not answering calls if they're not on my contacts list - getting about 6-10 a day
BSD, l've got heaps of worn blades, will try sharpening some when things settle down......

Got to love Christmas and the presents it brings.
Trampolines, pop up pools, and swing sets. More sh*t to mow around and do we ever hear "sorry mate here's a few extra $$". Not likely.
I was mowing the flat part of a steep block yesterday and left the sp mower to answer the phone. After a minute I heard the mower change tone and turned around to see it rolling down the slope. It got onto the steep/rocky part of the block at a fair pace, did a couple of cartwheels and stopped about 50 metres away with the engine still idling.
It couldn't get traction to drive back up so I had to drag the thing up to the top again.
Thankfully, no damage to the mower.

Looks like we are getting a scorcher on Xmas Day with 40 deg and the same on Boxing Day. Was gonna smoke a ham in the smoker but they have kyboched that idea with total fire bans. Will have to get another carton extra just to make up for evaporation lol
