I'm talking about lawn mowing as not being a trade, but people want to bring in horticulture as being a trade as 99% on here are not on this forum.
No you can't start a lawn mowing round last week and this week call yourself a trades person.

Its not so much about what you call yourself, its more about how you see, pomote & conduct yourself.
Cheers Fred.

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
Some very good comments guys , I can sense the frustration , because I feel it too. Fact is, if some sort of license was required, that would halve this industry overnight , because most of the guys couldn't be bothered or wouldn't want too.
And it would drop to less than a quarter if a trade qualification was required , but that will never happen , and I'm ok with that but I would like to see something. As someone else said , you can have over 50k in gear ,trailer vehicle insurance etc etc etc , and lose a job to a school kid trying to make some pocket money, to me that doesn't seem fair. Yeah I know there not the jobs you want anyway , but still ,but fark it...........who said , you cant fix stupid .........love that one
