hate it when a commercial client moves from clayton to laverton It seems to be a nice big site too with lots more lawn and much more gardening.

As another alternative - you will likely find Reach accounting easier to deal with than your MYOB.
It's web-based, so you don't need to worry about installing a program, updates, backups, etc...
Reach programmers can customize your sales invoices for you.
It can record all your transactions and provide the reports you need, has reasonable payroll, can upload images of your documents and attach them to transactions too if you want (means you don't need to fish thru old card-board boxes to retrieve old bills)
It also has reminder sms text messages to overdue clients - the only service that does this (that I know of)
At just $25/month is also much cheaper than MYOB.
There are several members here using Reach even now

"Success occurs when no one is looking, failure occurs when everyone is watching."
My partner telling me tonight that she's off to the Gold Coast in the morning with our boys for two days to stay with a friend (from here who she sees every frigging day) who's there at the moment and just happens to have a spare room at the apartment she's staying at. This just after being away for Christmas and hardly even getting settled back into the rhythm of things here. I had a heap of things planned with my boys in my spare time while they aren't at daycare including having put away money to try and afford a weekend away for us all together.
What makes me angrier is that I'm apparently the 'a-hole' because I am objecting to it, despite what I had planned above. Some days you're really better off not getting out of bed.

Sorry to hear that Paul. In the spirit of "find the silver lining" having the money put away now means that perhaps you can stash a little more away so that you and the boys can do something really special together later? I know it's annoying now because you were looking forward to it so much but perhaps you can set the date so your partner knows in advance and you can engage the boys in helping to plan for it, marking it off on the calendar to count down the days to help build the excitement and anticipation?
