10 POINTS TLC
HAVE TO LOVE THE ATTITUDE OF THESE $2 MILLIONAIRES.
Or should that be Things That Scare the Cr@p out of me?
Finding a massive spider on the bedroom wall about 2 minutes after Timmy leaves for a day jamming with the band. I swear if you listen carefully you can hear it breathe. I hate those things...am such a massive whuss about spiders. Just for perspective that light fitting is about the size of my head.

It's just a Huntsman Jo. Harmless and gets rid of other bugs from your house!
The logical part of my brain tells me this Paul but my inner coward says otherwise. Happy to have the bugs, no problem dealing with them.

I can't see it too well Joanne. Can you get a closer piccie of it?
I had this fella turn up a couple of months ago.
Saw him a week later dead in a daddy long legs web.

Timmy didn't overwhelm me with sympathy when I texted him the photo with a...can you come home and deal with this, you haven't been gone very long so won't be too far away....honestly, not feeling the love

Joanne, In situations like this I dont get a thong to hit them as i get nervouse and miss, i get the vacume cleaner an full and suck the crap out of it, then throw the vacum cleaner in the bin and buy another one lol
i was mowing a lawn today and i walked into a big spider web and didnt see it, It tangled me up, and after about 10 mins of whipper snippeing i had this massive spider crawl down from my brim of the hat in from of my sunnies scared the Sh!t out of me and my customer were laughing threw the hat on the ground, the the sunnins on the grownd and guess what i couldnt find the dam thing. searched the hat and sunnies but Nope couldnt find it. Umm so i hesitated so much to stick the hat back on. )
Love it! I have a bagless vacuum cleaner so figure the cyclonic action of being beaten against all the rest of the dust and junk in there would at least make the thing feel very unwell if not actually kill it.
Anyway I finally got up enough courage (after the 20th trip in to check it hadn't disappeared on me) to go in and spray it. Emptied half a can of Hovex on it to the point it was all white, fell on the bed and started running towards me with it's front legs in the air. Kids in the doorway screaming their heads off. I had to beat the thing with the can 4 times before it stopped moving. I have placed it's body outside as a warning to others of it's kind who might think the inside of my house seems like a nice place to get out of the wind and obviously pending rain. I don't play in your webs...don't play in my house.

classic. i can laugh at this knowing that whilst im not scarded of spiders i'm just as dramatic about cockroaches, even wheni do pluck up the courage to squash their guts are pus coloured!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If you weren't so far away Kathryn I'd happily come and deal with your cockroaches if you'd come and deal with the spiders.
Oh and the spiders guts are the same colour too....ewww

in the territory the students at the karate club realised my weakness and used to get great satisfaction out of finding giant scary monsters in the broom cupboard and sweeping them my way. i guess it was karma. i madethem do push ups and they send me squealing running around the hall

we use to go tothe murray alot growing up an i swear every insect is 10x the size it should be, we had crocroachs 10 centimetres long, spiders the size of a large hand, wasps the size of your thumb and the best bit moths the size i kid you not the size of small birds and there was plenty of them, we also use to see kangaroos, echidnas, platapus, wombats, snakes, turtles, rabbits, family of owls, bats, worms the size of small snakes, not to mention all the fish and aquatic life and bird life and this was all in the reserve next to a block of shacks. i saw more natural wild life than you would see at a zoo. great for 10 year old back in the day.
Independent and i know it
