Default Stihl hs80 stolen syd hills area

Hi all - disappointed to find that someone needed our Stihl hedger more than us today. It was taken off the back of our ute while we were mowing the backyard in Baulkham Hills. I know we probably should be more careful, but its hard when your floggin your guts out....

If you happen to be offered one I would appreciate it if you could contact us. It is easily identified as it is an ex-council unit and has some engraving on it and also has a gold screw holding the pull cord and handle together.

    Cheers

    Shane 0438 440 450.

bad news mate .... was talking to my mate at stihl dealer and he said that if and stihl machine gets pinched to let the dealer know as stihl record the serial numbers as a stolen machine .... so if some one buys it and takes it in for repair or service , thay will be questioned where thay got it from ...

Thnaks for the feedback guys - but not sure if an indy mower shop would have access to their list or how often the Stihl dealer would bother to check??? Anyway I will call into the 2 local dealers and let them know (probably while I haggle to buy a replacement)

I hate these stealing slime bags. If they spent as much time looking for a job as the do rippin things off the world would be a better place. Sorry to hear about that Shane. I know that sinking feeling you get when your find out your stuff is gone. Great idea about recording the stolen gear numbers but. Good one Anjaryan

Sorry to hear that Shane. Scumbags.

I hope they smash a glass pool fence panel with it as payback!

If you need to borrow mine in the short term let me know!

Thanks for the offer Bryan. We should be Ok as we've still got the pole hedger. And yes it was the one that smashed the pool fence - ooops!
