Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
Great set up mate. Two things I can see that are only minor but may help.
1. Put some rubber mat down on the floor of the compartments
2. Get a small plastic box or wooden one to hold those small bottle and cans or they will go everywhere and spill then you have the contents thorough your compartment

Chris,
Magic set up there, love your thought process into the little bridges that contain items.

Great setup Chris, got me thinking about my next Ute setup.
Love it ,IF you can do lawns as well as your truck set up Cha ching $$
....Nothing like a good whipper....
Good ideas everyone... The green waste area is sealed up from the other side but will definitely seal from the waste area side as well. The tyre can go on the roof above where the mowers are stored but not sure if it will be too high or not (can’t go under the car due to the gas tank) so will see how it works the way it is , might just put a cover over it??? We’ve made sure everything doesn’t slip around and have some rubber mat we can put in for extra protection.
There is also a good pic from admin in post #6 of a similar ute.
Great constructive feedback
G'day Chris B It is a great piece of work you have there. Putting the spare on the roof shouldn't be a problem as long as you can get to it. My new trailer has it on the roof of the mower compartment and personally I think it is a great spot for it. Out of the way and it comes in handy, I use a hockey strap from the spare to the lid of my toolbox so I don't have to hold the lid open when I'm getting stuff out as well.
Again that is a beauty of a set up.
I know its not a trailer, got a new ute today, had enought of all the problems the holden had, so went and got a ford. What a sad day
And a six wheeler!
