Default how does "opti 2" work ?

i've used it at the recommended 100:1 for the last 15-20yrs on all sorts of engines and never had a prob

anytime i've had a look at plug time, cylinder walls look like new, carbon buildup is virtually nil on piston crown and spark plug, but still get a slight oil weep from the muffler

i use the same fuel mix in my makita 4 stroke blower, coz it says it's also a fuel conditioner and i've not had any petrol go stale on me.

but how does it work ?

it's not synthetic (or so i was told), just "high quality" base stocks + additive package

so i'm 100% sold on it, just like to understand how it can be run at such low ratios

what about the rest of you ?

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
