if you have a 4wd do you also have a highlift jack? put it on a wide piece of thick wooden board and hook it under the front somewhere and crank away till it lifts up then slide another board under the wheel and back her out.

Probably a silly question, but have you opened the bypass valves on the hydros to let them freewheel without an operator?

I hope TLLG's air jack works for you VJ. The yards up here are getting to be really treacherous. Even an extra set of hands can help out sometimes, so give a hoy if we can help.

Our ride-on got stuck a couple of times last week (same boggy property) - a wide board and a couple of strong men helped me out, but you have to work with what's available at the time ...

(We also got our whole ute & trailer bogged in someone's rural/res property last week and had a customer with a 4WD & 9 tonne capacity winch offer to get us out - needless to say he got his next mow free

get some maxtrax recovery matts i got some for my 4wd would good for you boys with rideons in mud i know that the zero turns do bog down easy or cheaper option is get some of those plastic bread crates and cut the flat bit out and keep that with you jam it under the wheels and let your tyres down and drive out or a high lift jack or exhast jack

Release the hydro valves and make sure the brakes arent engaged. Some boards to get the machine up on top to the lawn again is a good idea.

Get a snatch strap ! Sometimes I think I could get by with only a 2WD but this wet season having 4WD has been worth it's weight in gold.
