Great stuff Wyadra, do they remove all the cars at once or shuffle them round as you go ?
    Cheers Fred.

Been a while coming this one eh Fred! They shuffle the cars, normally 2 trees at once so we only have to set the cherry picker once. These were done in August, had to wait 2 weeks until we got a calm day.

"Breaka Ma Windoze" -- I gather is what it stands for in some parts of Sydney
    &
"Ba....d Motor Wagen" to some other ppl.

though never ask a German what Fiat stands for ...... although it rates a bit better than the infamous Trabbie of the GDR (East Germany)

But whatever, the trimming work looks excellent

They are very good people to work for. When I first took this job the trees were a mess, prior contractor botched the job, over charged and under serviced. Ficus need to be done 3x a year or they will expand, the biggest trees here are too big and are right on the limit of what we can do. These trees haven't been done regularly enough because no one has been managing them over the long term. Now that they see that I can do the job they trust me to make the decision as to when they are trimmed. Some of them were sick, so I've fertilized them, now there is only 1 with a little bit of a problem. I just like to make them perfect, which is hard because you have to have good workers who will do what you want. If I wasn't there to do this job there is no way they would be done this well.

I quoted this job about a month ago and was pretty happy when I didn't hear back from him. But he rang on the weekend and said "Go ahead" Dammit!!

Just a one-off while he is injured. Tried to straighten them as much as I could without making them too ugly.

l lost a job the other week, been doing it for 14 years. l installed 80% of the hedges (and fountains, pergolas etc) buxus camellia & murraya, but won't miss trimming them.....will certainly miss the job though, the owners became very dear to me but had to go into a nursing home - it also was about 20% of my income
