good job courty. this is where i get the greatest satisfaction. Hedging is a great earner and just wish people would realize what goes into a good hedging job.so many times i have been pipped on prestidge properties only to see a sh#t job carried out. Might have to get some photo and build a portfolio.

Just some pics of a shaping job I did on Tuesday, have to go back and touch up next week. Done with trusty Stihl HS45, KM90 Multi Tool and my Transforma ladder with work platforms

    Nice work David.
I have exactly the same hedgers as you, and it seems to me (though I'm no way an expert) that the kombi hedger cuts much cleaner and easier than the HS45. Do you find the same? or maybe my HS45 needs some adjustments.

I do find that the multitool cuts Diosma better than the HS45. I do touch up my blades with a diamond file every so often, takes me about 20 minutes. I have set the clearance between the blades at 10thou which makes it cut better.

Paul i think that is the Gorilla 17 (not available anymore )
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you
