Yes, small-leaf privet probably Chinese Ligustrum sinense or European variety Ligustrum vulgare. Despite what people say I haven't found it anywhere near as noxious or rampant as the larger leaf variety which is a declared weed in so many areas. I have two long small leaf privet hedges down either side of my front yard but they have seen better days and are very old and twiggy. The good thing is though you can cut it right back and it will come back really well. I want to cut every second plant back one year and do the rest the following year. Just have to convince my neighbour. He'd rather put up a continuation of his colourbond fence.
I have seen the mower on the stick but not the chainsaw one. Funny

Smaller hedge is done with a Stihl HS81R
Large hedge is done with a scissor lift, Stihl HS81R, OleoMac Chainsaw 347XP, Stihl KM130R with PoleSaw and Hedge Trimmer attachment.
Just wanted to see how close is todays pricing from what i charge,$50-$60 ph depending on difficulty.Plus dump fees
