Great work Fred. Don't have any that height out here, would love to have a go at one that high. I would probably do my arse with the quote tho.

Just a question from someone who is completely ignorant of metro living and who has never even seen a hedge like that.

The hedge around the pool looks like it might be a boundary line. Do you do the other side as well and who pays for that? Couldn't the people next door say they only want to maintain a 6 foot high boundary, so lop it off at 6 foot?
Will repy to this in more detail later, its a looooong story.

I'm putting away gold coins for this set-up. Wouldn't work around that pool though!

You're a freek Fred, I think a cherry picker was how it was done on those high ones.

Great job, I would like to think I could retire after a job like that.

The ladder is worth what a person is willing to pay. I bought it second hand for $400 over 10yrs ago.
It does'nt matter what u pay 4 it, it matters what u make from it. (that sorta sounds familiar).
Today the ladder new would cost well over a G.
I bought it from a guy out your way. we arranged to meet about 1/2 way, the McDonalds c/park in S/Melb.
After meeting, I decided I'd better have a decent look b4 handing over the hard earned.
Raised the ladder & climbed to the top to check the stability.
It was then i noticed quite a few ppl watching me with puzzled looks on their faces.
What is this idiot doing in the middle of the c/park????????
    Cheers Fred.

The ladder is very heavy, & awkward (partic in confined areas).
With effort, it can be lifted onto the truck roof bars by one person, far easier with 2.
    Cheers Fred.

Nice job Fred, glad to see others get fog to work in to. I did a Olive hedge yesterday but no pics as it was lightly raining, pain in butt but the bottom line was nice, just had to be careful not to slip on anything.

Not fog David, rain & more rain
I think olives make great hedges, & they're hardy as.
    Cheers Fred.
