Hi Fred, yes I have done up a few old Holden's EH, EK, FB and HR's. A Lanrdover would be good to, I was looking at one a while back but I already have 4WD ute now that is setup for mowing and gardening, but I have to tow a trailer. I have a slide that pulls greenwaste out but it's not really successful. So I decided to look for tipper. Nothing with any character showed up so then I decided to go back to my roots and do up and old truck and build a tipper body onto it. I was going to buy a 1948 Maple Leaf but was told I needed a paddock to turn aroung in so then I looked for a Bedford, a mate told me about this Fordson. So I made and offer and then got my mate with the trailer and ute to tow it home. I have to resleeve all the brake cylinders, which are away now being resleeved in stainless so no more pitting.New window glass is being cut and new seals are in my shed. I found a person in ST Peters in Sydney who has 4 old ones and I have been able to get some parts off him and found where to get steering wheels remanufactured and other asorted stuff. Lots of work, some very frustrating but also very rewarding. I am now going to sell all my other old hobby stuff and put the money towards panelbeating and spraying. Lucky I have a mate who can do this for me

It will have a tipper tray and a large toolbox. I will have to learn how to double shuffle to change gears as when I tried before I crunched the gears, need to match engine speed with gearbox speed to change gears. It will be sign written, I reckon it will be a good bit of advertising for my business.Attachment 3862Attachment 3863
Very cool David can you do a build thread so we can watch the progress, I think it will be great advertising

That would certainly be cool. It would be great advertising for you.

Was laid up sick in bed on Monday, and so was keen to get on top of the workload yesterday. Night time fell and I started getting this throaty cough, which in time developed into a series of coughing fits. Was sitting on the sh#tter this morning, and started a coughing fit. Felt an almighty pop along my ribcage and was in excrucitating pain. Had to take myself to the docs at 6 in the morning and couldnt move. I couldnt even get myself up from lying on the examination table. Turns out I have ripped a bunch of muscles and ligaments along my side, due to a toilet accident lol. Beautiful sunshine outside too.
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather.....not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car!!!

Oh I feel your pain...I did that when I had whooping cough...three times (Actually one was a rib fracture). It friggin HURTS. I don't think anything hurts as much as ribs....

Nothing you can do either but rest and move gently. Hope you start to feel better soon (see the Chiro - trust me!)

Having a client who pays like light speed. Did his job today. Invoiced him at 1609 hrs this arvo. Got notification of payment approved via Paymate off my website at 1627 hrs. Gotta be happy with that. He is a good lad and he is always just as quick. Wish everyone was like him.
