Only 7 & 1/2 days to go. Hope my nerves can last that long. Geez it's going to be a good GF if both teams bring their current form on the day.

I pulled out my old Stihl FS81 and after a bit of cleaning/tinkering, it's running sweet as. Hasn't been started for about 4 years.
I think I'll get a shaft mounted controller and loop handle for it and put it back into service. Although it's only 22cc it puts the km90 4mix to shame for power. Just a bit noisy at full revs.

joined our local costco today at Moorabbin Airport for $55 annual fee business rate...got two cards one each for the wife and me...Filled the ute petrol cans mrs car and sons car and nearly got me 55 bucks back ..see they are selling petrol at 1.09 when its nearly 1.40 at the moment...the servo has no staff you just roll up put your members card in then your credit card and fill up...the store opens in nov 18 and has great savings...for the petrol alone get on to this little beauty lawnies
WOW. I need to check this mob out.
Been with Costco ever since they opened here. And another little trick is the machine does not check your identity. When relatives stop through I always let them use my card to fill up before departing. I fill my tanks every time I go past them.

"Success occurs when no one is looking, failure occurs when everyone is watching."
Called in at the engineering shop today and 2 years after we first discussed it, he's finally made a start on my new 10x6 tilt trailer.
Mixed emotions really, because I was just about to bite the bullet on a new vehicle and also, the local Husky dealer is about to offer me "A deal I can't refuse" to be a guinea pig for some cordless OPE.
El Nino??? I certainly hope not
Filled up gas at .40c per litre at the shell servo Dingley - just around the corner from Costco. Just happened to be going past but the employee said its been that price for 2 weeks.
Maybe a little competition?? If they can sell it at .40c how much are they really making on it?
Yer, had a crack at the Costco thing last week & the saving on petrol looked great at around 40c/litre.
Saving on diesel was around 14c/litre.
Disappointing thing for me was you had to estimate how much fuel so that you could prepay it.
You do get a refund if you over estimated but, that seems like more checking/bookwork to me.
Also if you don't overestimate/get a refund, you can't fill your tank & work out your fuel figures. There
was also an overcharge (charged twice) on my wifes card which took two days to sort out. Check your
accounts carefully.
Might have a look at the Shell over the road.
Cheers Fred.
