OMG Ian - even for you that was woeful! Before Children! The birthday is not actually until next Thursday. The party on Sat night...you're right...you're invite must have been lost in the mail. I tell you what, if you promise to bring Mrs Ian I will personally drop one over.

I threw my name in the ring to supply firewood to a tourist destination for next winter to help with my winter cashflow.
They rang today and want me to supply 10 chalets(for starters) as of today. The tourists love wood fires even in the summer.
I haven't even secured a supply property yet, but should get enough to make a start.
Been spending any spare $$ buying new vehicle and mower and now have to fast track another trailer and saws. Looks like the big ZTR will have to wait a bit longer.
Should be good once I get organised and get a stockpile here, as things got pretty skinny last winter.
Bunyas? Nice little earner for Winter that one but wow, didn't expect Summer as well! A ute load of firewood around here isn't cheap so you should do okay from that.
Yep,this season is shaping up pretty good, whilst still not having kicked off up here yet.Website calls are way up,local rag ad is down a bit. Dollar value per new job is up.
If the rain stays away Courty will be smiling.

Yes Paul. Won't be too much between now and winter, but just caught me unprepared.
Sorta hoping some of my mowing clients up there might get me to supply them too, and the firewood clients get me to mow their lawns
the bunyas are beautiful, but those chalets are expensive! when i was living in flat dalby i used to love driving up there. never knew a person could miss hills until we moved to this corner of the world
It sure is a beautiful place Kathryn. I always try to plan easy days work when I go up there so I have time to explore the park a bit more, but it never works out that way unfortunately.
Just finding a secluded spot to have lunch and enjoy the birds and wildlife is pleasant enough though
ive had some great walks up there. i like the way each trail takes you through differnt areas with a variety of plants. no good waterholesthat ive found near chinchilla yet but we went up to to maidenwell the other weekend to check out coomba falls. very nice and no crocodiles!
Coomba Falls is a nice spot too. Was the water running over the falls?
I went there after a storm last year and plenty of water then.

You should have kept coming another 25km for a cuppa coffee.
probably heading that way some time over xmas
Finally finding out that my new car is on the boat and on its way here. Should have it at the end of the month, fingers crossed. No more swapping trailers around so that I can take the cox lawnboss out, everything will be on the big trailer and I will finally be able to transport the 60" tank.
