Happy Days
Temp at 31, Sunny, light breeze and just perfect -
No stress job, two less customers to do than usual today - great!, cool enough to wear the battery radio head muffs - so listen to all the dramas a big city has on talk back,
Mow lawns at my own pace with all jobs today very close to home - so home for lunch, husky battery gear sorted and working real good, customers paying on time, bills all paid, 1250cc motor bike ready for a short ride after work, cold beer in fridge for after that ride and cook dinner for my wife as I doing everynight (medical reasons for that).
Give golden retriever a pat before leaving and upon return and a Dentastick.
Much better than my old collar and tie desk job me thinks
Cheers Garry
Picking up 2 new jobs a week lately, been like this for several weeks now.The (SA) drought is making contractors walk off there rounds due to less cuts per month and halving there income.Nothing new happens every year with new customers saying "he just disappeared and not returning calls"

Well after a couple of years chasing and many many court dates being postponed we had a win in court.
Now time to get some money back as many are hoping BUT being the professionals I believe they are I am not holding my breath.
I believe they are still wanted by the Queensland CIB so I won't say much more!
After a wet spring and summer we only took a week off at X-MAS.
Expected it to dry up earlier and take some time off but had to wait until now.
Another week off at Easter makes me happy
So sleep ins, camper, deck chairs, Waeco, bac/egg breakies, T-Bones everynight, campfire/mallows, cold beer/cans of Jack & no budget, just live it up.
Sounds good if that's the plan,
No break for me yet 5 days now off serious hedging and pole saw stuff this week, then lawns only leading into Easter. Not going to Cootamundra this Easter in the van, but taking the boat out locally as getting both motors serviced this week.
Be the first time for years to see the Good Friday Fire truck collection about.
Got to luv this lifestyle that's allow Easter off and other Public holidays when desired.
Cheers Garry

Planning my work schedule from Easter until beginning of September. Wont be chasing much new work unless it is very local and/or commercial type
Week off at Easter, 10 days in Cairns end of June - booked, probably a week in Bali (mid August ) AND mostly 3 day weeks all the way through.
Allowing another half day occasionally. Employees taking some time off but also getting some good hours for them.
Now just hope we get a good 3+ clear days each week especially during winter.
Now time to get motivated to do the house reno items
