Been having repeated trouble to get the 4 trailer braked wheels to work together for a while doing fine adjustments to get an even heat temperature on each wheel while preventing one wheel from locking up.
Well worked the morning and for the arvo spent time dismantling one drum brake to find one shoe was hitting the outer drum on a angle to the flat circular surface and some shredding the to the shoe linings creating lock ups even when adjusted in. (4 brakes were fitted new across August to Oct)
Trailer manu who I use said have the new shoe for nothing even though I wanted to pay as they are only cheap.
All brakes working in sync like a gem now. Hilux SR5 dual cab front brakes don't like towing trailers that can't fully brake there own weight.
    Cheers Garry

A tanaka T210s lightly used by home owner $125
Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Ha, probably the T210 that was stolen from my Ute earlier this year. Were they selling a few ryobi tools as well?

Cleaned my Van today and thought I would cover a largeish scrape pulled out the can I brought from the dealer many years ago and it was shot so thought I will just spray it with some cheap "Australian export" appliance white spray paint until I can get some more colour match paint for it so I sprayed it on and WTF it's virtually a perfect match

I got an email a week or so ago asking for a quote for a monthly mow/trim from an absentee owner. I drove past it the next day and it was pretty rough but not too bad.
I got the impression she was just after someone cheap & nasty and probably sent a dozen emails out, so I never got back to her.

Yesterday I got a text asking if I had a look and if I was interested in giving a quote.
So I emailed back that it's a $66 mow, but fortnightly during the growth period or I'm not interested.

Just got an email back saying the budget is $100/fortnight and mow, trim trees/shrubs whatever whenever I think it needs doing.

Then she explained that I helped her unload her trailer of green waste at the tip a few weeks ago when she was completely exhausted, so she knew she could trust me to look after her place.

That’s good karma back at you

It’s funny the people I’ve met at the tip always have a good yarn and some are now good friends

I did a very good deed for a long time very nice customer of mine a few weeks back.
They knew I had a Hilux with Toyota Bull Bar.
Upon visiting today they gave me a Brand New Led Combo Flood and Spot light bar and which will fit perfectly. They are 4WD people.
How good is that, and its not the first present I've had from the family.
    Cheers Garry
