Tip run with my two beautiful girls 6 and 3. Love their excitement! Macca's on the way home may have been why they were so excited but who cares!

Life's a garden, dig it! Life's a garden, dig it!
I have a 3 year old girl who melts my heart too. Have 4 others too, but there is something about the little girls when they are about 3. Too cute for words. Sadly she had her first visit to a beach today. (always busy + too far) She was in amazement, and it was a joy to watch.
I want to die peacefully in my sleep like my Grandfather.....not screaming in terror like the passengers in his car!!!
We took our eldest daughter to the beach at Lorne when she was about that age, it was Easter and far from warm. Each step she took towards the water saw a piece of clothing disappear until she was completely starkers standing in freezing water...then the cold water had that effect on her bladder that it often has. Next thing she's yelling at the top of her lungs..."look at me, I'm doing wees in the sea." Her aunt and I just doubled over laughing. (and we have the photos to taunt her with at her 21st)
I love the absolute joy kids show at the simplest of things, mine still do and they're now 10 and 8.
3 years olds can be absolute horrors (whom ever coined the phrase terrible twos didn't have a 3 year old).... but gawd they're cute.

Have been helping my sister & brother in law with the clean up of thier gardens at thier new house this weekend with my little offsider our 3 year old son. It's been a joy to watch the little fella having a ball carting branches to the trailer, digging in the dirt, playing with his toy chainsaw and just having a great time working with dad. He was up and ready to go at 6am he was that excited to go to work! Even sat on the ground at the end of the day with his ginger beer with the boys and came out with "Geez I'm buggered". Gotta love em. Makes working on the weekend for nothing but a few ales worth while.
I have 2 daughters both grown up I loved it when they were little and I miss the stuff that goes with it can't wait for the day I am a Grandpa...

My old man has been know by all and sundry as poppy since my daughter was born. This weekend mum and dad will head to Yamba (2.5hrs away) to my niece's end of year dance concert on Saturday then jump back in the car and drive back for Lucy's on Sunday. First thing he'll say to me is "what jobs have we got on for tomorrow".He's busier now then before he retired lol.
