Customers who argue the price..........up!! I have an old lady (83), really nice lady, salt of the earth type, on a pension. She had a small silky oak (3-4 metres) she wanted cut down and removed. I was already there to do the lawns and figured it would take me about 35-40 minutes so I said $50. She said, no, not enough, I'll give $50 today and another $100 next week (pension day)......we split the difference and settled on $100 for the job.......it took 40 minutes to cut down, cut up and load on the ute.....and 10 minutes to drop it off in my mate's goat paddock on the way home.
New boots! Got over 18 months from the old ones with a bit of shoe-goo to help the last few months.

Went to Currumbin last weekend for a wedding and watched the whales from the 15th floor. There were 4 within 2-300m of the beach inside the red balls(shark net?), and probably 10 all up that we could see.
After about an hour, one was about 400m out, started tail slapping the surface of the water. We could hear the thuds from our balcony. He did this about 15 times and then all the whales headed out to deeper water.
Was the highlight of the weekend for me.
Yep we went whale watching a couple of weekend ago at Narooma, saw a few plus a heap of Fur seals and penguins
love narooma/bermy area - if I ever move, it'll be down that way (or tassie)

Getting my lost/stolen iPhone 4 back. Turn's out it was stolen by my ex employee as suspected. The d**khead took it in to Vodafone Erina to try and get it unlocked, they confiscated the phone and posted it back to me. Got it back yesterday, looked at it, found all these photos of my ex employee and his girlfriend on it. Back to the police and now he's charged on 3 counts, love it.

Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Been keeping an eye on this Tawny Frogmouth for a while now, and was happy to see a chick for the first time today. Had to find foster homes for 2 fluff balls that had fallen out of the 'nest' last year, but looks like this one is going to be ok.
