Anything Ian says may or may not be garbage, it may also be his own opinion or it may not be his opinion at all, it may just be something he felt like stating anyone following his advice does so at their own risk and may be doing something Ian would actually advise against.
And if you don't like what Ian has to say use the ignore function if you don't know how ask i will gladly tell you

Same here Kathryn. A couple of weeks ago I was just about at the stage when I would have to cart water for my gardens. 74mm rain here over the weekend and the pressure is off for a while.

I had to do 500metres of road verge and drain today for the first time just out of town.
When I got there this morning, I was happy to see that the council had been working on a culvert there yesterday
and had left all of their roadworks signage in place on both sides of the road.
I just had to move one sign up the road about 100m and I was all legal. (Well a bit more legal than I would have otherwise been)
7 hours on the brushcutter didn't make me too happy though.
I just got an email from one of my longest clients,(2 yrs)telling me how happy she is, and thanking me for my work.
I only met her once when I did a quote for a garden clean up. Right after that, she took ill and has been in hospital/nursing home ever since. She has never seen any of my work except for a few photos I email her occasionally. The house has been vacant since she left.
Apparently some friends called around there yesterday and were so impressed with the place they took a video and collected a big bunch of roses and other flowers for her from her garden.
Just makes me feel good to play a part in giving a bit of joy in the life of a sick elderly person.
Thats a beautiful story

Finding out this morning that i lost 2 properties due to end of lease (whipping around the for lease sign gave it away )... finished all jobs by 1.30 and decided to advertise to drown my sorrows for a few hours and listen to some tunes.
I get home and my wife informs me that i've got 3 quotes.. 2 in the same street and onther 4 streets away and also i got 2 sms that they are moving out and can i do there new properties that are local.
Wham bam thank you maa'm.
Simmo.
Go home. Go directly home. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
Just had the luckiest break for quite a while. Got pulled over by the Police just now and was told my car is unregistered.
In between the window getting smashed and sticker destroyed when the car was broken into recently I've overlooked paying the rego. Annoying thing is I haven't received a renewal notice in the mail which would have helped me remember!
Tactical Crime Squad officer pulled me over and not Traffic Squad. He said if it had been Traffic Squad I probably wouldn't have been so lucky....
Off to the transport department now in Amanda's car to shell out $400+ for 6 months rego. (That I'm not so happy about but it's still better than a big fine and a court appearance.)
Woke up about 9 had brekky. Had a half hearted attempt at doing some paper work, I.e.frigged about on the internet for 3 hrs. Rode my bike down to the post office and there was a big fat cheque waiting for me. Rode in to town to deposit it then decided that today was a good day for riding so I took the scenic route home through the mountain tracks. Went and did a job at about three and finished it just before the rain started.
