It can be longer than 20yrs, we've kept our daughters at home board free to help them further. One has just moved into her new flash home, as we prefer them not to move and rent as that tosses money away. One is still at home at 20 and can't see her leaving for quite some time.
Helping them to get diplomas and further education after that, assist with car purchases and repair of first prang to avoid insurance claim on a young person. Plus the boyfriends and running costs to the house.
Then when one moves out a couple of blocks away, they come home to raid the house.

The photo with Mundine the girl on the left is getting maried to a UFC fighter never lost a fight so far. The girl second in from the right if not injured will be competing at the next Olympics for snow boarding. She retired from gym and took up Snow boarding and because of her arial skills took to it like a fish to water.

Read that on the phone today while I was waiting at teh hospital in Brissie. Funny thing though - when playing cricket with the 1st XI in high school I had a mate on which it had the opposite effect. Freshly cut grass on the oval used to send him to another level and he'd bowl like a demon.
Taking me boots off on Friday arvo
I got my new hi vis shirts today. So now I have 5 new jeans, 5 new shirts and new boots. As flash as a rat with a gold tooth now.
Time permitting, the trailer and toolbox should get a new paint job this week and new signage soon after that.
I hear ya and that first stubbie of the arvo.
Picked up another good payer today in an estate I have been trying to build my customer base in for a while. It's a gated estate so hard to advertise in and has taken time.Word of mouth and walk ups have done the trick, all weekly all on Friday and all nice places woohoo.

I've had some flyers here I meant to get out before xmas; the postie arrived with a carton for me this morning so I asked how much to deliver them for me, said he'd do it for nothing (must buy him a carton!).....had 3 phone calls within 2 hours, all confirmed regular mows! I haven't done a flyer drop for years, relying on the fact that every one here knows me, so pleasantly surprised

Two days this week have driven to work along the freeway and pulled up at my 1st job ready to start the ride on! Sh** the fuel cap is missing (after filling it up at home).
