courty mine was at least 3 times the area all up compared to yours, but no way near as thick - the rover cut it at full speed, in a single cut, just sections of it were a bit long, and left a couple blades of grass sticking up

yours looks like you prolly had to cut it 2 or 3 times - and i see someone with a RAKE - WTF??? lol

Picking up a second hand zero turn 14-38 Toro that has had the motor fully rebuilt at my mates mower shop for $850. This will be my second zero turn and mainly used for two commercial sites on the rough stuff down the back of them. Will be paid off three times in a year and some!!!!

Was at bunnings today as you do, was getting stuff from the trade area went to pay, then I saw this car drive past with a caged trailer on the back, A*ian man driving and two A*ians IN the trailer holding the gyprock on top of the cage as it wouldn't fit in the trailer!

Me and the checkout chick were gobsmacked and ran to see if they were driving into the carpark or just outside to reload......................nope they drove out onto the main road!

Finally got my backyard veggie garden cleaned out ready to replant. Only taken me about three months getting around to it.

15 sq/m all hand weeded and dug over, blood & bone added and watered in. Still unwell so tonight a few hours work feels like a whole days work; so bloody sore!

At least it's ready to plant a heap of veggies in tomorrow.

    What are you planting Paul?
I'm just waiting for a couple of pumpkins to ripen in mine, then I'll plough it in for winter.

Bit late with a few things Ed but some of what I've got going in to the backyard patch are leeks, broccoli, cauliflower, rhubarb, spinach, peas, baby-butter lettuce & sugarloaf cabbage.

Pumpkins and cucumbers were two of the many things that failed this year for me with too much wet weather early on.

Got the lot turned over and watered before I finished but was too dark for another pic.

Looks good PaulG. Would love to have a decent sized vege garden! One day I will get a big enough yard, with enough room for plenty of fruit trees aswel

This would be a really good one except for too much shade. Nothing a chainsaw and a couple of hours work wouldn't fix. Big old paperbark casting heavy shade already at 11am Just out there now doing a final dig-over before planting.
