Initially it could have been in the grumpy thread. I was very happy that the fella at the tip found a shovel to unload my 3/4 cubic mtr of small rocks and stones. I forgot to put the shovel in the tray when loading up and the lovely lady at the entry said "no chance" so when he hunted around and brought 1 back I was extremely happy.
Yep it belongs in the Happy Thread getting a loan shovel.
Re a tip story some 8 months back.
I left 4 good wiches hats at the tip. Didn't even know I had left them as I carry them in the back of a high side trailer and forgot to put them back in.
Not long after getting home from the tip, a Jim's Mowing unit pulls up at my house with my 4 hats. Theres only about 3 Jim's guys that know where I live and it was the one who I first spoke to when I inquired about nutting out if I wanted to be Jim in the beginning.
Big thanks John F from Jims and I had no cold beer left to share one with him at the time.
Edit; had the business name inside the cones.
Cheers Garry
Forgot to add I had small stickers made with my name and number which I stick on everything
Had to take day off due to school holidays. Spent the day Go karting, laser tagging and just having a good time with the kids. Times like this I know why I do this job

Having a fellow lawnie help out when my trailer ramp hit the road at 60 clicks. Cheers mate thanks for your help.
Just got back from my mums place. Catching up with my youngest brother whom I haven't seen in about 18 months due to him living in Vietnam working as an English teacher. Was great to listen to some of the stories he has to tell. Will have to set up a skype account.
My height adjust handle on my Honda snapped today; not the greatest thing to ever happen... However, it was fortunate that it was my last job for the day and it happened just as I'd finished the last lawn for my most 'valuable' client.
Happy that my local repair shop will have it done overnight and ready for 8am tomorrow morning. Also happy that there's not a small crop circle cut into the front lawn of my flagship property.

A couple of rums and home-made gluten-free pizza after a mediocre day
