Ok Redeye I'll bite. Been going regularly for 2 years now. Tried missing my monthly appointment and back starts playing up. Keep my monthly appointment and back is fine. Not much out of pocket from my health fund and works for me.
Like any industry I'm sure there are good and bad operators out there. What I like about my chiro is that his goal is to push my visits out to 6 weeks+ and eventually no longer see me.

I'll bite too. Found a good Chiro app 7 years ago and sorted all my old barefoot water skiing injuries that I had been putting up with for 40 years. Now that made me happy!!!!!!!! Only go for a tuneup every 6 months or so when I feel a few twinges sneaking back in and only $50 per visit. The good ones are hard to find as she has told me of the seminars that are run to teach chiros to get people back on a very regular basis. Yep, cowboys and ripoffs in every industry.

I went to one a few years back did an excellent job sorting out a couple of things. But than he wanted me to come back every week, for supposed ongoing maintenance, which involved a 5 minute push and prod, $60.00 thanks. My answer, no thanks I dont like getting ripped off.

I have been going to Chiropractors for many years, as I moved around I had to find new ones. Some of them are useless, when I find a good one I try and stay with them.

having a father who studied medicine nearly 70 years ago, and keeps up with journals etc, perhaps I've been a little biased (he still cranks up with chiro's, naturapaths, iridologists et al) ; they don't have the training that physio's have, certainly don't have the respect re recognised medical education

I agree redeye I have been to a few, all of which I am certain have done more harm than good, and had another tell my wife who has scoliosis that there was nothing wrong with her but her posture. though I do agree there are dodgy people in every profession, but I have no faith personally and have had my concerns affirmed every time. But I do believe, personally, that a majority if not all these natural options are a placebo effect *flamesuit on*

Pretty bad from whats she has explained, enough so that when they attempted an epidural for my sons birth, they couldnt do it. When you meet her Dean, have a yak to her about it.

    Today Sunday,

Well the last three days have struggled to get over 10deg and 60mm of rain with a low cloud base= rather crappy water logged days.
So I have a few back logged jobs to fit into this coming week on a week that had already clumped many jobs in already as it happens with schedules sometimes.
But under these conditions 4 calls have been received over the weekend including as late as 4.45pm Sunday to come and do work for non frequent customers on my books and a new customer.
All good I say, especially for this time of the year.
    Cheers Garry

Heading off shortly to pick up my new ZTR. Seems like this last week has had 14 days in it.

Very Very happy to announce the birth of my second child, another son, Henry. Born 19/08/13. Both mum and bubs are doing well. Weighing in at 8lb7oz, not bad for 9 days early.
