Got rid of the home phone today and switched to a cable internet connection.
Only people who ever called were either trying to sell something or looking for donations. 200gb,way faster speeds and saved 60bucks a month

Well done Courty. I haven't had a landline since I moved here and haven't missed it.
I'm hanging out for the NBN to come. Ours will be wireless and they have the tower up and there's been techs parked along the roads with receivers etc, so it might not be too far away.
The NBN wireless plans look much better than Telstras 4gb for $50 at present.
My daughters boy friend had some scumbag siphon his car while he was here but a neighbor caught him out and chased him. Mungrol got away but had to leave his jerry can sitting there with the petrol still in it. I now have a 20 litre jerry can.
6ft perfect barrels all morning happy stoked
From what I read this week about NBN and landlines, if you refuse the NBN connection you automatically lose your landline. I'm not a fan of having my front yard dug up and a huge, stupid looking connection box on my front wall for the NBN so looks like I might be ditching my landline too.
The main reason i kept the land line is elderly pensioners will only call a land lines and these are my best potential customers to have
