Watching the highlights of Jonathon Brown's career, true champion both on and off the field. Great for the game of AFL.

Was at my local supplier Nuleaf today, where I buy all my killacides, growacides, hand tools, irrigation components and more, when the owner butted in and gave me this FOC !!!!!! Graciously accepted it with a big thankyou. So happy to have such a great retail outlet with a huge range of quality products and extremely helpful staff and only a 5 min drive from home. I had a happy little chuckle today. One of the jobs I do has one of those neighbours who is out there with a broom before I get out of the car. The property has a footpath. The strip near the road between my client's driveway and his he planted himself so I'm not allowed to even look at it. But the strip on the other side of the path, which is a weedy patch of dirt a foot wide and 2m long, I am supposed to "mow". Last time I was there he had a real go at me for a bit of crap flicking out onto his side of the path. Mind you I was still only half way through the edges when he started blabbering. The conversation ended with him telling me I leave **** everywhere and me telling him I don't give a **** about his opinion.....then he gave me the "oh you just wait n see threat" whatever the f that means.
My next appointment with my client, his neighbour, was today. I was supposed to cut a 25m long overgrown oleander hedge, which runs along the fence between the 2 properties, down to below fence height and a bit off the front. Pretty much reducing it by half. The job's usually worth around $300 to me. But I seriously hate doing it and only do it because she is one of my better clients and I do pretty much all of her trimming.
My client called me on monday just to confirm my booking for the day and to let me know I don't need to worry about the oleander because the neighbor did it for her, of of spite I'm sure.
So i'm already happy about that. There was still plenty of work for me and I didn't need to cart a trailer load of crap to the tip.
But the best part is I rocked up today and there's a dirty big fenced off hole in the middle of his strip of turf where the council are doing something Sweet justice. That made my day! And I didn't even do anything naughty

I just use an armstrong blocksplitter Fred. The good seasoned ironbark is mostly not too bad to split, although I started on another big one this morning that I had to quit on. I'll get back to it when I have more time.
I'd like a hydraulic splitter, but they can be inconvenient at times too.
