    Default mulch

    Hi All,

    Can someone please tell me how many SQM'S I would get out of one 6x4 trailer load of mulch.

    & what would u charge to lay about 100 sqm of it?

    I see guys with 6x4 get approx 1 cube. Coverage depends on the mulch as does time to spread.
    Chunky mulch is quicker to spread than fine cottage mulch. Use a horse poo shovel and you fill a 100lt wheelbarrow in 4 scoups.
    I usually spread at 50mm thick, so 20m2 to the cube.
    Allow 1hr to spread a cube unless you have to wheel it 50m down the side of house/ hill etc then add more.
    100m2 I'd use 5 cubes mulch, allow 5hrs spreading plus difficulty, product cost, delivery.
    Remember, as the job progress's it gets harder as you get tired and sick of it. Charge accordingly
