After overnight rain and a chilly start in Melbournes south east this morning the weather cleared to a fairly sunny day.
I was pegging out the boundaries of a new extensive garden bed for a client on acreage.
Working by myself with just the clients dog for company I stopped for a cuppa about mid morning. The sun was shinning and the property was alive with flocks of parrots, a couple of kookaburras laughing away and a magpie was hanging around in the hope of a free feed.
In a moment of reflection I was thinking that life doesn't get any better than this. I'm doing something I love, working for great clients, away from the traffic and the ratrace, and best of all, I'm getting paid to be out here enjoying this.
It's a good life.
