I havnt heard much about them? Is this enough grunt to handle the longer thicker stuff? Is it good reliable motor? Is there much stuffing around with the deck baffles??
Took a Hustler x-one 31/54 for a drive around the car park today! Looks like my budget may just blow out a little. Having a look at toro g3 tomorrow and the big dog. Will then see what they cut like but at $14500 the hustler looks pretty good and with the option of a 5 yr / 500 hr warranty. Also took the model down (fasttrack super duty)26/54 for a run - there is a huge difference in ride /comfort/ response etc."

Ok went to enquire about the big dog. Almost exactly the same mower frame but different deck and motor options.
Without Flex forks, different deck and a 24hp kawa compared to 31kawa it is 3grands cheaper.
I figure the extra grunt and longetivity of the 31kawa should see it last and get some of those heavy jobs done so much easier.
Dont know if I want to look at the Toro g3 high performance! Its a bit more $ on top of the Hustler price tag and I am sure the Hustler will last & last and be a general good all rounder!

I think I will go and cut some grass with the Hustler x-one and unless it does something unusual its as good as sold. The dealer is around the corner, been there years, likely to be there much longer and can service my other ztr and can do the whole service including rebuilds etc. Price about $14500 but i will get something thrown in I am sure.

Are you buying it outright or lease/financing it. Im looking at a new ztr soon and wanted some opinions on which is more cost effective. My first ztr i payed cash for and it was less stressfull in winter with no repayments to be made but saving up $15-$20000 can take a few weeks!!

I've recently put a car on finance so this one will be cash. Finance can be good if you get the right deals and cashflow is an issue but best to see an accountant I think. Hey, rates may even come down slightly soon
